About
Sara is working on her PhD in Early Judaism under Dr. Gerbern Oegema at McGill University in Montreal. Her dissertation is on the treatment of women in the Q Sayings Source. The thesis resulting from her MA in New Testament, also from McGill, was called "The Role of Women in 1 and 2 Maccabees." Sara hails from the East Coast of Canada, where she did undergraduate work in Biblical Studies and English literature. She has been voted an "honorary Korean" by her beloved ESL students. She has been voted a "procrastinator cum laude" by her thesis supervisor. To avoid being swallowed whole by the McGill library, never to return, she thought it prudent to be a drummer in a pop band as well.
